With a proven track record in ESG innovation, WILVO Group is committed to continuous improvement in sustainability. Accordingly, our strategy pays close attention to ESG themes such as environment, health & safety and HR.
In practice, you can see that we have integrated ESG principles into supplier selection and evaluation criteria and that our high safety standards are constantly reinforced by targeted safety investments. In addition, with our refurbishment program for transportation systems, we actively contribute to a circular economy by reducing raw material use and waste. This program earned us the ASML Circular Economy Award in 2019. In our cooperation with ASML, we are also jointly committed to continually reducing our CO₂ emissions. For example, we are currently saving on our electricity consumption equivalent to the consumption of 4,500 Dutch households.

As a first tier supplier, WILVO Group takes control of the entire supply chain. Together with our partners within the chain, we continuously explore opportunities to further flesh out ESG themes. Ultimately, we see each theme as a process in its own right, working with customers and suppliers on initiatives with impact.
As WILVO Group, we make every effort to be self-sufficient in our energy consumption, through the use of solar panels, geothermal heat and heat recovery. All our industrial waste is separated and processed sustainably. Within our 2030 vision, we are continuously reducing the use of fossil fuels, ensuring further greening through targeted investments in our machinery (including fromCO2 lasers to Fiber lasers and LED lighting in all our production facilities) and participating in a solar park through Scholt Energy.

Within WILVO Group, our QHSE manager (Davy Schiricke) is responsible for ensuring ESG principles in the areas of quality, safety, health and environmental impact. Through proactive policies and a strong focus on improvement, as QHSE manager he is an essential link in strengthening our sustainability goals. He also works closely with all levels within the organization to become a little better every day in the area of ESG as well.
